Camphor has a strong, fragrant odor, a bitter, pungent taste, and is slightly cold to the touch. As a topical Camphor, is an irritant and numbs the peripheral sensory nerves. It is slightly antiseptic and is easily absorbed by the subcutaneous tissue. Externally it is used for rheumatism, sprains, bronchitis, and other inflammatory conditions. Camphor can be used internally to calm hysteria, nervousness and neuralgia, but can also used to treat serious diarrhea. Camphor is very effective in treating colds, chills, and in all inflammatory complaints.
Suggested Dosage or Camphor Use: Use 6-12 drops in juice, water, under the tongue or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
