Scroll down purchase products if you are already familiar with the healing benefits of Pascalite. The Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming is the only place in the world where Pascalite exists. We are fortunate to live at the foot of these majestic and pristine Mountains. The Big Horn Mountains, called the Shining Mountains by early explorers, are an isolated range midway between the Black Hills and Yellowstone, with peaks reaching as high as 13,000 feet. The Big Horns were favorites of the Indians, and offer modern explorers of the American Outback many out-of-the-way delights.
Pascalite is used in soap and toothpaste, applied as a poultice to insect bites, sunburns, infections, cold sores and acne, and as a suppository for hemorrhoids. Users found it a potent skin cleanser and conditioner, drank it for heartburn and ulcers and swallowed capsules of Pascalite as a natural mineral and dietary supplement. Ranchers and veterinarians applied it to wounds and infections on livestock.
We offer Pascalite as a mineral and dietary supplement, which under an April 13, 1976, federal law removed such supplements from the drug classification. Bentonite has been ruled G.R.A.S. Generally Regarded As Safe for human consumption. Two FDA agents have informed us that Pascalite is cleared by their department.
Frequently asked Questions:
Q: Does your Pascalite Clay have FDA GRAS recognition?
A: Pascalite clay is a calcium based bentonite. Bentonite is GRAS by the FDA. (Pascalite has not been evaluated by the FDA.) It is not intended to diagnose, cure, prevent or treat any disease. We do not make any claims for Pascalite (and do not want anyone or company to make claims, either.)
Q: Is it safe to drink internally without any additives?
A: It is safe to drink Pascalite internally, mixed with water, juice, milk, coffee, etc., as well as use externally.
Q: Do you have a chemical composition sheet on it?
A: PASCALITE has been found to consist of:
Carbon 54.4%.........Iron 1.1%
Oxygen 27.5%.........Calcium .8%
Silicon 9.7%.........Copper .3%
Aluminum 4.2%.........Sodium .2%
Magnesium 1.4%.........Titanium .2%
and trace amounts of: Potassium, Phosphorus, Manganese, Barium, Chromium, Cobalt, Boron, Nickel, Gallium, Zirconium, Strontium, Cadmium, and Vanadium. Most of the minerals in Pascalite are in the form of oxides. ***There can be variances, as Pascalite is a natural substance. Pascalite does not contain arsenic, mercury, etc.
The Pascalite is hand mined in the summer from the high mountains, then it is solar dried over the fall/winter/spring. The following summer it is bagged up and hauled into town where it is ground into a powder. Nothing is added to it. (The exception is the three external products that have additional ingredients and are made by me here: Pasca-Pak, Pasca-Balm and Pasca-Glow.) The Pascalite has not been washed or cleaned, only solar dried in an enclosed building. It is 100% pure. We solar dry our clay - thus retaining the enzymes. Many clays are heat processed. We hear over and over from customers that have tried all the clays on the market that they feel Pascalite is more powerful and superior to the other clays!
Q: Do you have an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) on it?
A: We do not have an MSDS on Pascalite.
Q: What is the % of calcium, sodium and the other trace minerals?
A: Oxygen 27.5%.........Calcium .8%
Silicon 9.7%.........Copper .3%
Aluminum 4.2%.........Sodium .2%
Magnesium 1.4%.........Titanium .2%
